Overview

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal to join a small, boutique law firm.

As a Paralegal, you will provide essential support to attorneys by handling landlord / tenant files, specifically, EVICTIONS.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have the ability to handle an eviction file from beginning to end and work independently.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents.
  • Review and analyze documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the preparation of trial materials, exhibits, and other supporting documents.
  • Manage calendars and schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Perform administrative tasks Proven experience as a Paralegal or similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in business, Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field.
  • Completion of a paralegal certification program preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a paralegal in a legal department or law firm, with specific experience in evictions required.
  • Strong understanding of eviction and state-specific regulations preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research using online databases and resources.
